Self-assessment

When I was first issued the assignment of a rhetorical analysis, I had no idea what I was going to write about. I had seen dozens of articles, pictures, but none of them made me feel anything. None of them made me angry. It was not until I started searching the web that I came across a YouTube video for an old perm brand. Although the video was very clearly texturist, what made it interesting was not just the video itself, but the comment section. There were dozens of comments from older women who were children around the time this commercial was airing. Talking about the effects that this commercial had on their self-esteem and their self-worth. And how much the PCJ perm damaged their hair, some even saying their hair fell out because of using this product. However, despite how good the evidence was, I realized after my first peer review, I was struggling with course learning objective eight. However, after looking over the article about analyzing images that Professor Voisard provided us, I realized my errors and revised it. Accomplishing course learning objective eight and two.
